Long Mynd Hike Essentials

We're avid supporters of The Long Mynd Hike, a self navigated 50 mile challenge taking you through the Shropshire Hills over night and into th emorning ... depending on how fast you are! Not only does it start and finish on our doorstep, but it involves and evokes a fantastic community spirit which is at the heart of our business. This year will be a special year as we will all be thinking of our dear friend Terry. Several of our staff have entered and completed the hike on multiple occasions and Frances is now a regular at the Corndon check point so feel free to ask if you need any advice. The 2025 hike entries open on Sunday 13th July and the event it's self kicks off at 1pm on Saturday 4th October, and we will be at registration with last minute bits and bobs, but we recommend you buy ahead to avoid the stress! It's just one foot in front of the other, you can do it!
